Meet Our Administration
Julie Morris- Principal
Mrs. Morris is beginning her 21st year as an educator and her first as Webb Bridge middle School's principal. For the past 20 years she has been serving the Fulton County community as a Lake Windward ES Gator.
She has a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida State University and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University. She also has ESOL and Talented and Gifted (TAG) Endorsements. Mrs. Morris started her teaching career in Orlando, Florida before transferring to Fulton County Schools in 2001. She taught third grade in FCS for eight years including two years as a third grade TAG cluster teacher before becoming Lake Windward ES's Curriculum Support Teacher. After enjoying three years as CST she transitioned into the role of Assistant Principal and in 2015, she took over as Principal.
Mrs. Morris is passionate about ensuring the highest quality of education for the students she serves. She believes that every child can learn, and enjoys working to support teachers, students and parents as we all strive to make WBMS the best place for students to learn and grow.
Mrs. Morris is married and has two sons as well as a sweet dog named Paddington. In her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling, and cheering on the FSU Seminoles, but most of all she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Mike Milak- 6th Grade Assistant Principal
Mike Milak is an Assistant Principal at Webb Bridge Middle School, overseeing all aspects of supervision, discipline, and academic support (MTSS) for 6th-grade students, including service learning and articulation/transition from elementary school. He provides content support and evaluation for Connections, Health and PE, Fine Arts, and Social Studies (with Ms. Pardee). Mike also manages building security, custodians, the media center, and staff evaluations for custodians, the Media Specialist, and the Media Paraprofessional.
As Cafeteria Liaison and Transportation Contact, Mike coordinates activity buses, facilities maintenance, school improvement projects, and beautification efforts. He also handles duty scheduling, summer school coordination, and cultural celebrations (with AVT classes). He supports student programs like the Jaguar Morning News, Walk to School Day, FBLA, JAG JAM, and recycling, and serves as the Media Center Liaison.
Mike’s path to education began while working at a juvenile detention center in New Jersey, which inspired him to become a teacher. He graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Marketing Education and earned his Master's from Oglethorpe University and a Leadership Certificate from Georgia State University. Starting as a 6th-grade Social Studies teacher in 1992 at Sandy Springs Middle School, he later became an Assistant Principal there in 2003, serving the community for 18 years. In 2010, he joined Webb Bridge Middle School, where he has been a dedicated leader ever since.
Outside of school, Mike has coached baseball and football in his community. He is the proud father of two college students, a daughter and a son. He is excited to support the 6th grade this year and is honored to continue serving the Webb Bridge community.
Michelle Garner- 7th Grade Assistant Principal
Michelle Garner is the 7th Grade Assistant Principal at Webb Bridge Middle School, overseeing all aspects of student supervision, discipline, academic support (MTSS), and service learning for 7th grade. She provides content support and evaluation for the World Language, Science, and ESOL departments, along with staff support for the ESOL paraprofessional, ISS paraprofessional, and Clinic Assistant. Michelle also leads Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) for Tiers 1 and 2 and serves as the Detention and ISS Coordinator.
As the Testing Coordinator and Data Specialist, she manages assessments, including Georgia Alternative Assessments, Georgia Milestones EOCs and EOGs, ACCESS testing, NAEP, MAP, additional reading screenings, and FCS Unit Assessments and Interims. She also coordinates clinic operations, staff CPR/AED/StB training, and scoliosis screening. In addition, Michelle supports student programs like International Night and manages ATLAS Time.
Michelle's journey in education began after she shifted from a career in sales and marketing to fulfill her dream of teaching. She started teaching in 1993 at Lake Windward Elementary and earned a Master's in Elementary Education from The University of Georgia in 1995. After joining Webb Bridge Middle School in 2007 as a sixth-grade teacher, her passion for middle school education led her to become an assistant principal in 2009.
A Georgia native and proud Georgia Bulldawgs fan, Michelle enjoys family time, gardening, reading, cooking, and traveling. She is excited to support her 7th graders and looks forward to another great year!
Carmen Hurst- 8th Grade Assistant Principal
Carmen Hurst is the 8th Grade Assistant Principal at Webb Bridge Middle School, now in her 10th year in this role. She oversees all aspects of 8th-grade student supervision, discipline, academic support (MTSS), and service learning. Carmen also supports and evaluates the Math and Services for Exceptional Children (SEC) departments, including SEC paraprofessionals, speech staff, and the data clerk.
As the Master Scheduler and Student Information Coordinator, Carmen manages enrollment, new student registration, and articulation for high school transitions, including opt-out options for high school courses. She coordinates safety and emergency preparedness plans, serves as the CSA and School Police Officer Liaison, and handles accreditation and state and federal reporting. Carmen is also the 11 Principles/Character.org Coordinator, supporting the school's wellness, staff connection, and student leadership programs, such as WEB Leaders.
Outside of school, Carmen and her husband, Brad, stay busy with their three children's activities. Brody, a rising 8th grader, is involved in tumbling and trampoline; Brycen, a rising 6th grader, plays football, travel baseball, and various winter sports; and Colbi, a rising 3rd grader, enjoys baseball and basketball. Despite their hectic schedules, Carmen embraces the busyness of family life.
Katie Pardee- Administrative Assistant
Katie Pardee is the Administrative Assistant at Webb Bridge Middle School, overseeing Social Studies and TAG content support and supervision. She plays a vital role in professional learning facilitation, staff communication, and technology integration as the Canvas Implementation Administrator and a member of the FCS Vanguard leadership team as Marketing Lead.
Katie leads and coordinates our Compass program, and handles student discipline related to phone and technology misuse for all grades. She collaborates with other middle schools, engages in vertical teaming with feeder schools, and serves as the Assistant Testing Coordinator for Write Score and iReady assessments.
Katie also organizes and manages school events like Sneak Peek, Curriculum Night, and staff celebrations, as well as coordinating the Student Success Skills program, EXL/HDSG, and various student clubs and organizations. She also manages the 8th-grade Connections scheduling, device coordination, new teacher induction and mentoring, and faculty technology support.
Katie earned her degree in History and Geography from Georgia College in 2009, a Master’s in Teaching from Georgia College in 2010, an Education Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University in 2015, and a Tier 1 Leadership Certification from the University of West Georgia in 2024.
